Hollywood is all about guns. The occasional on-set shooting death is
just normal overhead. Hypocrisy of the ruling class.

Our local newspaper is anti-gun, and the entertainment section is
packed with ads featuring movie stars pointing guns.

Money talks, I guess. I wonder if Baldwin will shoot guns in future
movies.

Father Brown's figure remained quite dark and still;
but in that instant he had lost his head. His head was
always most valuable when he had lost it.

I think the last fatality that occurred on a big-budget picture was over 25 years ago. Anyway, the "ruling class" in America is solidly right-wing. Otherwise there would've probably been a universal health care system by now...

Yes, they know their audience, and there are definitely not enough Godless leftists to keep them in business alone. Why do I wanna watch a movie about some old-timey gunslingers? I have no interest personally.

Learn the difference between homicide and murder. Murder is a subset of homicide. The scene must have called for a closeup of Baldwin firing the weapon right into the camera, or close to it. The blast could have blown something loose from the camera assembly and into the victims. That's not likely to be something they would test out in advance. What's really telling is Hollywood's the-show-must-go-on attitude despite personal tragedy. There are many movies wherein someone was killed, usually a stuntman, and that doesn't stop them from finishing the production and releasing the film.

Exactly. How the hell else are they going to enrich themselves and make tons of money without feeding the crowd exactly what they want to see and how they see it. Big productions have every bit of their plots, actions dialogue, you name it, thoroughly scrutinized and analyzed by psychologists before they even start.

Yes, that one is blatant HYPOCRISY. Hollywood gun trivia... Notice the gunner always points at the victim's head. Not sure when that started, would like to know, but it's nonsense in real life. The obvious reason they do it in Hollywood... To get the gun in close- ups. Also, naturally, pointing the gun at the victim's head might increase tension for their clueless audience.

Hollywood is weird. The whole American film industry is weird. Any amount of violence is acceptable, but showing a nipple is taboo. Weird. Jeroen Belleman

It's called "taking the lead". They collaborate, exactly the same way they flagrantly alienate half of our country NOW. Money is not their only motive.
Yes, our entertainment is so "weird" the rest of the world can never steal
enough of it...
