Ever seen a Tokyo apartment? Maybe that's why "virtual goods" are so popular there.

I just ordered two bags of yellow grits and two jugs of Soy Vey from Amazon. The local stores have neither. White Lily flour can't be bought here. I am dissapointed in the power attenuators. https://www.dropbox.com/s/399bd9n1g5btt4t/Azat_1.jpg?raw=1 https://www.dropbox.com/s/7i07d69kfwf1oo9/Amazon_Atten.jpg?raw=1 One new one measures 53 ohms on one end!

Norway has approximately the same rate of corporate tax as the USA. However, in Norway corporate tax makes up 12.5% of the GDP (I'm getting figures from Wikipedia here), while in the USA it makes up 1.8%. Does that mean companies in Norway are ten times as successful? Or that 90% of companies in the USA cheat or dodge their taxes?

Whenever someone says "I have the solution - drop /this/ kind of tax", you can be absolutely sure an idiot is talking.
> > Corporate taxation is mostly envy. That makes no sense, since > corporations don't have feelings.
Corporate taxation is about taxing something that makes a profit. Companies can re-invest their profits inside the company in some way - building the company without being taxed - or they can pass on a dividend to their shareholders, paying a tax first. That has never struck me as being unreasonable. (I am no expert in economics, however.)

It is difficult to see how anyone could jump to a sillier conclusion here.

What the... This switching bench PSU came from Amazon and it's actually a decent PSU once I cleaned the board, replaced the power FET, the TO-220 dual diode, burned thermistor and re-soldered the joints like a normal person would've done the first time. <https://www.dropbox.com/s/kklue2eyyy2c3i9/IMG_20171005_104357775.jpg?dl=0>

soldering isn't bad if it was done with rusty nail heated with a candle ;) but how much did it cost? less than two SMA connectors, with free shipping?

I've seen worse. I think Amazon supresses bad reviews.

$19 for the 10-watt 40 dB attenuator. When they are good, they are good to 3 GHz. A similar Mini-Circuits part is $160. They come in a nice metal can, good project box. The can says that one connector, the male, is the input end!

Sounds good to me. Just tax all profits taken from companies by owners at 75%. Currently we tax that money twice, so just tax it once, but really big. If the owners are also employees, they have to take a reasonable salary. That means they pay FICA. Anything they take out that isn't salary should be at a high rate independent of their salary. -- Rick C. - Get 1,000 miles of free Supercharging - Tesla referral code - https://ts.la/richard11209
