Cell phone use causes tongue cancer

Started by Jeff Liebermann July 15, 2018
I have discovered definitive proof that talking on a cell
phone use causes cancer. It's not the usual cancer of the
brain, or central nervous system. It's cancer of the tongue.

https://seer.cancer.gov/faststats/selections.php?run=runit&output=1&data=1&statistic=1&year=201801&race=1&sex=1&age=1&series=cancer&cancer=6

Notice the steady increase in new cases of tongue cancer
since 1990, and the corresponding increase in cell phone use
over the same time period:

The two graphs correlate quite nicely, thus conclusively
proving that yacking on a cell phone causes tongue cancer.

This is obviously going to hit women disproportionately more than men. -- This message may be freely reproduced without limit or charge only via the Usenet protocol. All products with "smart" as part of the name are only smart for those who are selling them. -- This message may be freely reproduced without limit or charge only via the Usenet protocol. My father once warned me that products with superlatives such as super, amazing, magic, miracle, plus, smart, advanced, ultra, jumbo, and such usually don't meet up to the expectations implied by the name. After many years of being disappointed by such products, I've concluded that he was correct. -- Jeff Liebermann jeffl@cruzio.com 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558

Yep. Corrleation does not imply causation. I had decided that it was time to download an updated graph of the incidence of brain and CNS cancers from the SEER database. I'm possibly giving yet another talk on the topic of cell phones and brain cancer in a month or three and will need it. As usual, the incidence rate of new braind and CNS cancers are still decreasing. Nothing new here: <https://seer.cancer.gov/faststats/selections.php?run=runit&output=1&data=1&statistic=1&year=201801&race=1&sex=1&age=1&series=cancer&cancer=76> The graph of age versus brain cancer incidence was also unchanged: <https://seer.cancer.gov/faststats/selections.php?run=runit&output=1&data=1&statistic=3&year=201804&race=1&sex=1&age=1&series=cancer&cancer=76> So, I was wondering if any of the cancer sites listed were increasing. I randomly clicked around the list of cancer sites. Most were stable or decreasing. Then I found cancer of the tongue, which was increasing. You can guess the rest. Also, I was also inspired by this article from The Guardian: "The inconvenient truth about cancer and mobile phones" https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2018/jul/14/mobile-phones-cancer-inconvenient-truths ...there is "clear evidence" that radiation from mobile phones causes cancer, specifically, a heart tissue cancer in rats that is too rare to be explained as random occurrence. I presume that if fewer rats contracted this rare cancer, it would be even more evident that it was caused by cell phone emissions. -- Jeff Liebermann jeffl@cruzio.com 150 Felker St #D http://www.LearnByDestroying.com Santa Cruz CA 95060 http://802.11junk.com Skype: JeffLiebermann AE6KS 831-336-2558
