Ralph Morrison served in WW2 as a radio repairman. He used the GI Bill to attend Caltech. He received a BS in physics from Caltech and a MS in Electrical Engineering from USC. His early work experience was in analog instrumentation used in aerospace. He had his own manufacturing company for over 30 years. His later years were spent in writing and giving seminars. In 1967 John Wiley published his first book titled Grounding and Shielding. This book was rewritten every ten years with the 6th Edition published in 2016. His books gave him the opportunity to do consulting and to see the evolution of digital design. His latest book was published in 2018. It is titled Fast Circuit Boards- Energy Management. All of his efforts have been directed toward limiting electrical interference of all types.
