Nature is a pretty respectable scientific publisher, Nobody is going to be much interested until you can buy the parts from a broad-line distributor, but the peer review process is a device for restricting publication to people who are publishing sensible information. -- Bill Sloman, Sydney

Unlikely. Nature is a highly respected peer reviewed journal - their silver telluride based sensor will make regulators very happy if it can be sensibly mass produced. It is a very long way from a laboratory prototype to a mass produced product that you can buy though. Consumer applications of (Nobel prize winning) graphene are still thin on the ground and that has been a hot topic for nearly two decades now! -- Martin Brown
