Humane Ai Pin

Started by jim whitby November 9, 2023
This is astounding. I thought it was a hoax when I first saw the article
about it.

A replacement for a cell phone.

If its a hoax, somebody went to a lotta trouble!
Check it out.

Wearables are always dubious ideas... they require acceptance from the wearer AND those around him (remember Google Glass?). A device that "others" want to avoid likely has a short product life. This is especially true of devices with out-facing cameras. Interaction with a phone (or watch, etc.) may seem rude to others nearby but it doesn't inherently compromise their privacy.

There is a short article about it in The Wall Street Journal today (10 Nov'23): "Can an AI Device Replace the Smartphone? Former Apple execs launch wearable Ai Pin that uses ChatGPT". There are many other articles. So they are real. Joe Gwinn
