New big boy op amp

Started by bitrex September 21, 2023
Not as high a max supply voltage as the TCA0372, but that's a big boy
slew rate and output current for the price:

Hmm, the data sheet says 2013, have they just been hiding at Digi Key all this time?
On a sunny day (Thu, 21 Sep 2023 01:06:57 -0400) it happened bitrex

If it needs an amp,the display must be very big. I hope the thermal limit actually works. It doesn't on TCA0372.

Potentially nice part. It’s about 12 MHz GBW, vs 1.4ish for the TCA0372 or the old Fairchild L272, or a pitiful 350 kHz for the ST version. It has a power pad, and costs 67 cents in hundreds. (The others have gone way up in price.) LCSC doesn’t have any, which is a bit inconvenient. It’s only marginally stable at unity gain—like 10 dB peaking, and the datasheet isn’t exactly PMI quality. Cheers Phil Hobbs -- Dr Philip C D Hobbs Principal Consultant ElectroOptical Innovations LLC / Hobbs ElectroOptics Optics, Electro-optics, Photonics, Analog Electronics
