How can they SPICE model two distinct serially connected resistors (Rls, Rcs - respectively Rll, Rcl) inside a power MOSFET? Are they kidding us ;-) If so is that useful in the model?: A Low-Cost Class-E Power Amplifier with Sine-Wave Drive - Caltech: http://www.its.caltech.edu/~mmic/reshpubindex/papers/ClassE.pdf (pdf-page 3) - Is it possible (how?) to measure the internal parasitic components with a homemade impedance bridge?: An Inexpensive Impedance Bridge: http://www.rfcafe.com/references/qst/inexpensive-impedance-bridge-jul-1944-qst.htm Can this be used to measure the guts of a power MOSFET?: http://www.sdr-kits.net/ A Low Budget Vector Network Analyzer for AF to UHF http://sdr-kits.net/DG8SAQ/VNWA/baier_VNWA10_QEX.pdf DG8SAQ Vector Network Analyser - VNWA2.x Description http://www.sdr-kits.net/VNWA/VNWA_Description.html http://www.mydarc.de/dg8saq/VNWA21/index.html HP4194A is not within my range. How can they do that? For a novice like me it look like magic: S-parameter to SPICE Model Converter: http://www.emwonder.com/spicemodels/ RD15HVF1 - Mitsubishi Electric: http://www.mitsubishielectric.com/semiconductors/php/ePartProfile.php?FILENAME=rd15hvf1.pdf&FOLDER=/product/hf/sirfpowermosfet/siliconrfdiscrete/siliconrfdiscrete_lv4 - March 18, 2010, Swimming in the channel: http://www.edn.com/design/analog/4312334/Swimming-in-the-channel Quote: "... HFSS (high-frequency structural simulator), is a general-purpose field solver that also allows Spice modeling for S parameters and matrix solvers. ..." - ( https://www.google.com/search?q=infer+spice+model+s-parameters ) /Glenn
