I am electronics tech by trade. Started as a young kid in the 60's electronics as a hobby. Got a Heathkit scope at age 13. Started work as TV repair tech trainee at age 16. Started repairing solid state guitar amps & PA amps at age 17. First computer was CPM OS single board Z80 system. Later IBM PC box, but got into linux early on. (Floppys, X windows) Self taught, with some OTJ training.

Sounds like progress. IC4 could have been damaged in domino fashion. Output transistor fails, which takes out the driver, which takes out IC4. Be sure to check value...

The two 150 ohm resistors, R4, R5 are feeding the 7915, and 7815 regulators, maybe what you are calling power IC's. If the resistors are actually hot enough to smoke...

I repair this type of equipment full time. But, I have a list of brands I don't, Behringer is on that list. BTDT. The parts support is terrible. I'll stop there...
