This is the one
Review written by: Hugh Thompson From Ellicott City, MD United States
As a practicing analog chip designer, I own several of the better known texts on analog integrated circuit design, but this one outshines them all. Written in a clear and readable style, this text carefully lays the foundation that every circuit designer needs to excel in this field.

I made a thorough study of the initial chapters of this book when I was just getting started in IC design, and I continue to return to it regularly to refresh or broaden my circuit design knowledge. The book strikes just the right balance between practical and theoretical instruction, and it does not bury the reader in pages of unneeded mathematical derivations as some texts do.

If I could put only one text on my shelf, this would be the one I would choose. I wholeheartedly recommend it to students as well as working professionals who are seeking to succeed in analog integrated circuit design.

Analog Integrated Circuit Design
Review written by: Stanley J. Goldman From Dallas, Texas, USA
This is a must book to have on any serious CMOS IC Engineers desk. This book covers a wide variety of analog design topics in a manner that is easy to understand. It contains several practical design shematics. I constantly refer to the section that contains the CMOS transistor equations. He has organized these equations in a table that makes it easy to look up. His coverage of current mirrors, amplifiers, bandgaps, operational amplifiers, comparators, and ADC are all well done.

Sincerely,
Stan Goldman RF IC Design Engineer [...]
Phase-Locked Loops Engineering Handbook for Integrated Circuits

better packaging desirable
Review written by: fodhg From Campinas, SP Brazil
The book looks really like a new one, but its package has been damaged during transportation. Raindrops have reached the sheets but the book is still usable. Better packaging is highly desirable so that books can resist to long trips and wet weather

Must have analog
Review written by: Mohammad Omer From Atlanta
The only real book besides Holdberg teaching the science of Analog System Design. Meticulous treatment of switched caps, A/D convertes and some real pointers on mismatch mitigation and analog system tradeoffs.

Easy to Understand, Simple, Clear
Review written by: Sridhar Devulapalli From Colorado Springs CO
I have had this book since 1999 and I use it a lot for my work. I have to give it 5 stars because I really understand what the authors write in this book compared to many other "Analog IC Design" books in the market. Any new circuit that I have to design and/or tweak, I refer this book first. It best suits 95% of the IC design engineers who are average Joe/Jane like me. Thank you authors.
