A good book to start Analog CMOS design
Review written by: davez From LA, CA, United States
This book contains enough information to get you started on analog CMOS design. The scope of CMOS design is vast, so even with 900 pages, it is impossible to cover every topic in great depth. So I don't fault the authors for being superficial on some areas. This is the book mostly for analog CMOS design. It contains some elements of digital design, but not for large scale digital ASIC, for custom craft digital cells that you may need in your analog or mixed signal designs.

Nice book
Review written by: S. B. Yu From Germany
The language and structure of this book throw light into the understanding of readers which can create intuitive thinking of CMOS devices. Other than analog or digital circuit design books, it helps the readers to go further in the concrete applications with easy-to-catch figs and equations. Moreover, since it is published in recent years the gathered papers and circuits are representative and applicable, though some of them need more analysis.
In the end i ll bring the most attractive feature to this book, the all-outwithout reservation of EDA simulations and the lectures of this book on Baker's page [...]. The platform are not limited to only a Hspice or even Psipce. The Cadence specter and LTspice data are the most extraordinary. i personally recommend LTspice for its easy platform. All these EDA support show great progress than the LASI (Layout Tool) in the last edition.
Thanks to Baker, for his book, internet page, Google forum, videos of lectures, solutions for problems.
greatest work ever in 2000- 2010

Useful for actually getting out designs
Review written by: Matthew Posey From Denver, CO
The longer I have this book the more frequently I come back to it. While it is true as some reviewers say that some aspects are relatively shallow there is a wealth of insight in this book that will help you actually meet design constraints. I can't say how easy it is to learn the basics from this book because I was already familiar with the core of the topics in the book when I purchased it. But if you have some particular circuit you are working on there is a good chance this book will have something useful to say.

Graduate level VLSI book.
Review written by: Erick Villegas From Quezon City, Philippines
Got the book without a hitch. THe second edition, though thinner, have more content. It was thinner due to type of paper used. Excellent book, though not to be used for undergraduate course as one reviewer pointed out.

Reliable and good to try

I am glad that I tried this supplier and I would try next time with more confidence than this time.
