Pedro Machado (@PedroMBMachado)

My name is Pedro Machado and I am PhD student at the Nottingham Trent University. I hold a Master degree in Electrical and Computers Engineers by the University of Coimbra. I have 5 years of experience as a researcher and I am currently working on the Si elegans project (www.si-elegans.eu). The Si elegans aims to provide a unique simulations framework where users such as Neuroscientists and Biologists can emulate the C. elegans nematode. I am also developing computational retina models and implement them on Neuromorphic Hardware (hardware that mimics biological behaviours) as part of my PhD research.
