OT: Durham investigation continues long time!

"A Russia analyst who contributed key research to the so-called Steele
dossier...was arrested Thursday...released on a $100,000 bond."

The investigation is heating up. Some of the conspirators are cooperating
with Durham. Kash Patel is my favorite individual source of information,
currently.

The FBI does seem to be enthusiastic about prosecuting anybody who mislead them. John Doe seems to be excited about it because he thinks that the Mueller Inquiry was aimed at Trump. It was - in fact - aimed at the Trump campaign team's contacts with Russians, and revealed a fairly substantial Russian intervention into the 2016 election campaign on Trump's behalf. The simplest explanation for that is that the Russians involved well enough to realise that he'd give them a lot less trouble than Hilary Clinton would have done if she had won. The fact that he was incompetent enough to get some 700,000 Americans dead in the covid-19 pandemic was probably an unexpected bonus. This isn't the kind of explanation that would appeal to Trump, or Trump fans. -- Bill Sloman, Sydney

"the Mueller investigation was about Trump only because Trump made it so" (Bozo paraphrased)

No, that's ludicrous spin, not any kind of view on reality. The same commentator said 'you can fight climate change with suntan lotion'; this does not seem to indicate any close adherence to fact. Not an authority, not a real source, just a talking head. If you want to know about the Mueller investigation, just read an official report by someone who was involved: <https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/18/politics/full-mueller-report-pdf/index.html> or check it out from the library...

Waste of time. John Doe's reading comprehension is down there with Flyguy's - he sees what he wants to see and ignores the stuff that doesn't fit with his preconceptions. It gets downright bizarre at times. -- Bill Sloman, Sydney
