The fact you consider that low IQ excuse for an article to be adequate and satisfactory means you have no idea in hell what you're talking about.

Assuming that's a legitimate quote... It makes sense for someone with crap ideas desiring to eliminate everybody else's ideas. They want to control everything so people have no choice but to suffer under their rule.

Turns out they did not obtain a "gain of function", but if they ever do, I hope the virus finds the proper hosts that really deserve to be infected by it and have refused to be vaccinated for it.

Wishing death for your fellow citizens - how compassionate!

Zero Hedge. The Barbara Cartland of the conspiracy fantasy world. Cursitor Doom loves the stories they tell him, but doesn't seem to appreciate that it's all fatuous imagination. -- Bill Sloman, Sydney

Published in 1848. There wasn't any communist party at the time - it wasn't until about 1871 that Karl Marx came up with the "leading role of the party" idea that got him thrown out of the international socialist movement for being undemocratic which lead to the modern communist party. Marx was thirty in 1848, and Engels 28. They were rather angry young men at the time.

The ideas they were advancing at the time were revolutionary, and not all that well worked out. The parts that matured into democratic socialism were actually remarkably useful. Marx eventually found democracy inhibiting - Mussolini had the same problem - which reflects and unfortunate character flaw.

At the time they wanted to get rid of a particularly conservative and repressive ruling class. They had some rough ideas about what a better system would look like, and by 1871 the international socialist movement had refined those ideas into something close to what we now know as democratic socialism, which has been remarkably successful. Karl Marx wanted something more authoritarian, and that got him thrown out. His ideas got tried out in the Soviet Union, and - while they sort of worked - they didn't work out too well. The Chinese Communist Party got the message - to some extent - and has looked after it's citizens rather better (if not all that well). -- Bill Sloman, Sydney

Zero Hedge is pretty despicable, but they give Cursitor Doom the despicable fantasies he craves, so he's happy.

Refusing to get vaccinated against an infectious and potentially lethal disease isn't all that compassionate either. It might not be a capital crime, but if your neglect of the health of your fellow citizens results in your own death there's a certain amount of ironic justice in play. -- Bill Sloman, Sydney

I mostly wish they'd grow a brain. But if wishes were horses beggars would ride.

Just develop the vaccine before you develop the virus, and only give it to the people that you like. -- Father Brown's figure remained quite dark and still; but in that instant he had lost his head. His head was always most valuable when he had lost it.
