Signal generator in Microcap 12

Started by Stachu Chebel September 18, 2020
Hi,
I need to define a signal generator (voltage) of a heart beat.
I have one heart beat cycle in text file format (time voltage):
t1 v1
t2 v2
.
.
tn vn
Could anybody help me to define such a generator in Microcap 12?

so a "PWL" source

Hi Jasen, I was misunderstood. I'm not looking for the ECG data (voltage vs. time). I already have it. In fact from the same website. My problem is how to put this data into a schematic primitive (voltage/signal generator) that will drive the schematic that I want to simulate with Microcap 12. Stachu

His answer was to the point nevertheless: Import your data into a PWL source. Jeroen Belleman

USR (user) source. Save your voltage levels as a series in a plain text file with the extension .usr

for guidance, look at the SAMPLE.USR file in the DATA folder.
