On-board Oscillator with CMOS 4046

Hello,
I need help to determine the value of VR2 and C12 (pin 6 and 7).
For my project I need a base frequency of 400 rpm and a running speed of 4000 rpm.
I also determine a R26 (pin 11) at 10k for a 100k VR1. With these values, what is the value for C12?
Thank you,
Miguel

try 200 pF.

Try 12nF. I think the OP is after 400 - 4000 cycles per minute (rpm), not cycles per second (Hz). Andy

right, so divide by 60 and you have your Hz. looks like 6.666 to 66.666 Hz. Jamie Jamie

And then try something else. Perhaps a pattern will eventually start to show.

I do believe there are nomographs in the datasheet. ...Jim Thompson -- | James E.Thompson | mens | | Analog Innovations | et | | Analog/Mixed-Signal ASIC's and Discrete Systems | manus | | San Tan Valley, AZ 85142 Skype: Contacts Only | | | Voice:(480)460-2350 Fax: Available upon request | Brass Rat | | E-mail Icon at http://www.analog-innovations.com | 1962 | I love to cook with wine. I had to change the speed to 1Hz (60rpm) and 10Hz (600rpm) With these values, what is the value for VR2 and C12?
