Huh, Well those are some 'hot' springs. :^) From what I hear the cancer/ mutation from Hiroshima/ Nagasaki bombs was not as bad as we believe. this is OK, https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4981260/ George h.

And no non-Chinese companies have ever done this?

They could sell all of their radioactive limestone on ebay. But then their town would fall into the molten lava at the center of the Earth.

Lots of things are radio active. The salt subistute (potassium cloride) is often radio active, and people eat that.

It's always radioactive. there are no stable isotopes of potassium. -- This email has not been checked by half-arsed antivirus software

hmm, yeah other places agree, I wonder how I got that idea, I had the impression that 39 and 41 were just much less radioactive. -- This email has not been checked by half-arsed antivirus software

I always wondered how the term "Radio Active" came to be.... It has nothing to do with a Radio. If it did, everytime I turned on a radio, it would be radio active, because when it's playing, it's active. I sort of figure the "RAD" has to do with radiation, but why did the word "radio" come to be used?

It derives from the latin 'radiare': 'to shine'. 'Radio' is the first person present tense: "I shine". Jeroen Belleman
