So we are either ghosts or vampires? You are silly enough to believe in both. Your ideas about leftists - aka people who don't share your other demented ideas - really don't have much connection with reality.

As if I cared what krw reads. The evidence suggests that he'll only condescend to take in stuff published by the Tea Party, and then only if it's silly enough to fit his perverse view of the world. -- Bill Sloman, Sydney

Krw is a little too dim to appreciate that he was being hoist with his own = petard. Originality is - in any event - too rare to be wasted on floor-scra= pings like krw. And I apologise for over-rating krw by associating him with a petard - whic= h was a small bomb used for knocking down doors. Krw would be hard pressed = to knock down a house of cards - his attacks are so misguided (as above) th= at they tend to support the side that he thinks that he is assaulting. --=20 Bill Sloman, Sydney

Wow! Once again, you demonstrate your originality. No wonder you got a PhD. You can't impress anyone else so you had to impress yourself. Well, that part worked. Obviously.

They told us (somewhat later) that IBM was two weeks from missing payroll at the end of '92. Akers had been borrowing money to pay dividends for a decade.

You bet! Miserable, in fact.

Yeah, '92 was a tough year. IBM was the world's most profitable corporation in 1990, and two years later lost $8bn, the largest corporate loss to that date. Stuff got less fun after that.
