In short, CR2025 has 20mm in diameter and thickness 2.5mm, nominal capacity 165mAh. CR2032 has 20mm in diameter and 3.2 thickness, nominal capacity 220mAh.
CR2025 can replace CMOS if you set good contact on pins. Also, it will last much shorter than CR2032.

Yep. Exactly why you are here, so they can answer your questions, because you're too stupid to know yourself. "Geeks" are the people who design the shit you buy, the cars you drive, the computers you use. They are the ones you call when it breaks, because you're too stupid to know how to fix it yourself. All of the modern conveniences, the medicine, the technology, jet planes, computers, fast cars, sky scrapers and iPhones, all of it was brought to you by geeks. You're welcome. If you can't contribute something, then sit back and be quiet, and maybe if you're polite maybe someone will help you out. Because you sure as hell aren't going to fix it yourself. You fall in the class of "consumers", those that work all day to make money so they can buy the shit geeks built for them.

I find that, when you swallow, there is not much difference, but the 2032 gives a better tone to my burp !

Since this is a many-times--answered thread, I felt a useful comment was appropriate, I hope others find it relevant and useless.
