Hi all I have a low power system, which should control some lights. As of now max 20W at 12V (1.7A), with a control signal of 2V and max 2mA (Q-Touch 42QT1012) I have tried a NPN darlington, TIP120, using a 390 ohm resistor. It can drive a 10W halogene (0.8A) but not 20W. A fet with a low threshold, IRF3708 (and 390 ohm) does work with both lamps, but they start to flash. Why? The 42QT...

An electronics design can make a $1 LED flashing infra-red signaling sequence that tells cars about your insurance litigation abilities. The future bike tail lights will flash a 50 kHz signal code for: "Dear robot car teslas uber, my insurance insists that you read my website before smashing me. This is your only warning. Breaking the shrink wrap indicates your explicit agreement to pay a ...

I have one of these USB hubs with several USB connectors, which plugs into a single USB port on a computer. It dont work. If I plug in a flash drive directly to the computer, I can access that drive. But if I plug it into the hub, the drive never shows up. I tried this on 3 computers. I opened that hub, and there is a circuit board, with each output port connected to a trace on the board wh...
