I have been notified by Helmut Sennewald that the LTspice encryption process hides the node sequence. So please revisit... http://www.analog-innovations.com/SED/HC4046_SUB.zip for a corrected version. This is just the VCO portion for now, and just the variable part; suitable only for LTspice. Please try it out and let me know your comments, etc. Since I'm new to working with LTsp...

I need to simulate a circuit with an lm393 comparator in it. I went to the yahoo group and got a file called lm393_st.txt. I renamed it lm393.sub and put it in the sub folder. Then I drew my circuit using a universal op amp symbol, which I named lm393. LTSpice doesn't recognize it, with or without an include statement. What do I do? --------------------------------------- Poste...

Is it possible to simulate circuit performance using LTSpice under different temperature conditions? Say you have a single NPN transistor with grounded emitter and a collector load and a resistor from base to collector so the collector voltage is about half the supply voltage. I understand the result would depend on the HFE of the transistor, temperature, and maybe not very stable. Just wonde...

I offer to share with you a TUTORIAL but don't know how to get it into your hands. The TUTORIAL is about 15kB, zipped, and describes the step-by-step process of using FREE femm 4.2 to analyze a simple PCB structure to calculate values to then use in circuit simulation, LTspice/PSpice. The sequence can be modified for use in analyzing really complex structures, structures where th...

New Spice Model Posted to my Website: Every Spice Simulator has their own proprietary way of implementing digital functions... LTspice Digital Primitives don't play on PSpice, PSpice Digital Primitives don't play on LTspice... neither play anywhere else. Thus I have rolled my own Spice Model for the venerable HC4538 one-shot that uses universal behavioral modeling for the digital elemen...

Hello all, I'm back again with an audio zero-cross detection circuit that I have desig= ned based on valuable feedback from some of you (notably Jim Thompson and J= ohn Fields). I am trying to gate an audio signal while avoiding clicks as i= t switches on and off. I'm submitting the LTSpice file here for your comments and also to ask why = one thing does not seem to be working as intende...

I see excessive crossover distortion with this audio amp not shown with LTspice. It simulates ok, but the wired circuit produces about a 50uS dead time step as the signal crosses the mid point. I tried increasing the bias with no help. Both inputs to the op-amp look good with no distortion. Any idea what is going on?
