I'm working on a custom project that involves potentiometers and picture adjustments on the monitor they are connected to. To determine whether or not the potentiometers I need exist or if I need to build them, I need to resolve two questions and the possible issues they bring up. 1) This may seem like a crazy question, but are there low-friction potentiometers? (I'm referring to the physica...

Could some electronics suru here clarify this a bit ? A planar inductor has a frequency dependent resistance(skin, proximity effecrs). Can the small signal S parameters for such an inductor be measured using stabdard SPICE small signal(.AC) analysis ? At each frequency in a specified frequency range, the series resistance is different. Does this new resistance at each frequency have effect on ...

It may be possible to fire frequencies at the Corona Virus, possibly sound waves or other vibrations. For this to work I imagine the following: 1. First the corona virus must be real. 2. Second the corona virus must be isolated. 3. Third the corona virus frequency must be discovered/established. 4. Fourth the frequency must be replicated by some kind of device. 5. Fiveth an experiment sh...

Anyone know the method for calculating a reciever's position from the time difference between three rf pulse transmiters of known positions? This has apparantly been in use since the second world war but a description of the mathematics involved is hiding. Maybe a text on navagation methods? Hul

Sometimes Virtual Harddisk Images don't mount in Windows 7. Currently these VHDs are on a usb drive. Perhaps the usb drive is not detected yet during boot and causes the mounting of the VHDs to fail. However I have seen same behaviour with actualy build in harddisks. Perhaps same problems. Harddisk not detected during boot ? Seems strange... perhaps ntfs file system not yet fully mounted/...
