For example -there is a 30*30 meter warehouse with a lot of metallic
products- to ensure fast and reliable reading does one go for a dense
reader deployment with reader controllers, or metalic rfid tags in
normal reader configuration could do the job. How about a wi-fi system
or a case when you ...

Thanks.

I have an application in which RFID tags need to respond and send data while
at very cold (10 deg F to -30 deg F) temperatures. They will have been put
in place for up to one year. While not exactly the application, it's as if I
were attaching RFID tags to the entrances of Arctic Fox dens - a ve...

Does any of you know if passive RFID will work close (3-4 meters) to
high voltage power lines (275kVolt).
I think yes since they work in FR frequencies and power lines have
60-50 Hz despite the strong electromagnetic fields. Do you agree???

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a good book about how to connect different
chips from different manufacturers into a single device? E.g., an
RFID reader from TI, a microprocessor from Intel, and a wireless
transceiver from somebody else. I don't even know what to look for...

Does anyone know of a good custom coil supplier in the US?
I need some small (40mm OD) air core coils wound. It's an 125 kHz RFID
antenna.
Say, either 2.5mH or 750uH, exact value and DCR negotiable and TBD. I'd
like 5-
10 protos to test and tune with before ordering the first production ru...

I am looking for a minimal hardware circuit to generate a 125 kHz
sinusoidal wave to be fed into the power stage that is in turn feeding
an antenna. The wave is used to generate a carrier frequency for an
RFID application.
I was thinking of using this [ http://www.ecsxtal.com/store/pdf/ecs-31....

I'm having a terrible time getting an air core coil wound
for my RFID project. The big problem is that I simply don't
know how to specify a coil, and the engineers at the magnetics
company can't seem to help me fill in the blanks. Can anyone
shed some light on how I should procede?

Hello!
When designing ultra low-noise PSU's and related circuits, what do you
use to characterize them with regards to noise ? One of my component
suppliers for example use an old HP 3571A Dynamic Signal Analyzer,
which is a DC-100 kHz spectrum analyzer, with a 50 ohm coax soldered
directly o...
