I have succeeded in building the Led timer.

Two used 9v batteries outputting 13-15 v, are timed via a 555, to
light up the led for about a minute.

However, if the led is replaced with a load device, say musical
buzzer, the on time decreases to a few seconds.

200 ohms placed at the buzzer, degraded the sound quality very much.

This buzzer works quite well at 4v, so the circuit must be using more
than 10v.

Could there be some way to improve the buzzer volume etc.

Thanks.

Steve.
