What would be the better MOV for L-N for a 90-140VAC input smps.The
supply includes a 25mH CM choke and 0.1uf X2 cap,600v bridge and 250V
bulk cap.

I was thinking these 150VAC 20MM from littlefuse.

Description V20E150

* Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV)
* Voltage Rating AC, Vrms:150Vrms
* Voltage Rating DC, Vdc:200VDC
* Peak Surge Current @ 8/20uS:10000A
* Clamping Voltage 8/20us Max :395V
* Capacitance, Cd:1600pF
* Package/Case:20mm Disc
* Capacitance:1600pF RoHS Compliant: Yes

But I think I remember reading your not sopposed to select the
standoff voltage too close to the working voltage?

Would this be a better choice?

Description V20E175P

* Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV)
* Voltage Rating AC, Vrms:175Vrms
* Voltage Rating DC, Vdc:225VDC
* Peak Surge Current @ 8/20uS:10000A
* Clamping Voltage 8/20us Max :455V
* Capacitance, Cd:1400pF
* Package/Case:20mm Disc RoHS Compliant: Yes

Thanks.
