Hello,
Picinit is a free utility which is addressed to those which program the PIC
16F84A microcontrollers in assembler language, with Microchip MPLAB IDE.
Picinit defines the initial configuration of a PIC 16F84A microcontroller.
The source code (.asm) corresponding is automatically generat...![[information] Picinit for PIC 16F84A](http://www.electronics-related.com/new/images/

yes, i did google and i got a gaggle of garbage a few good links
and somw great stuff with dead or deadend links.
a product called **UMPS** came up alot and i saw a screen for it

Thanks for that quick response.
It looks good to me. But what do I know.
I'l try it and see.
I don't think my IDE has a Sim. I've only just been experimenting with
pic's for about a week and am still finding my feet.
Thanks again.

Hi,
I have a 12V DC motor (6A under load). The only power supplies I have
around here are ATX. Someone at an electronics shop told me they can be
used to supply the power, but I didn't ask how. Is it just a matter of
using an IDE connector to power the motor?
Regards,
Michael

Have you considered any of the Sumsung ARM9 processor range? Some have
USB1.1 host/controller ports and an IDE/ATA port. For the price of
about =A325 and a small driver routine, problem solved.

I'd consider looking into the Arduino Diecimilia board. I teach a
robotics class in the Boston area built around this board, and many
people I know use it extensively. Here are the advantages:
1. It's open source, so there's lots of development happening around
it, and it's popularity is growi...

I found every hdd ( Seagate, Maxtor ) has at least 1 IC far hotter
than other IC`s. I glue hsinks onto these hot IC`s, to cool them : 1
ata33 Seagate hdd already works noticeably faster, after I glue a
hsink onto its hottest IC. In 12-03 I glued a hsink onto a nVidia
